The year is 1811. King George III is deemed unfit to rule. His son, the Prince of Wales, now rules as Prince Regent until his father’s death in 1820. This time period is known as the Regency.
This line of thinking is what started the spark of a story idea that bloomed into The Test of Time. A girl from our time, Katia, stumbles through time to the Regency era, only it’s not our Regency. She’s found a way to a different world altogether.
If you could alter one small sliver of history, what would it be? What changes would that have on the world?
About The Test of Time
While vacationing in England, Katia spies a large mansion and somehow passes through time, landing in the arms of the otherworldly and enchanting Lord Landon. Trapped in a parallel Regency-era, Katia struggles not to fall for Landon, but his charm proves too much for her. Just when she is about to confess her love for him, Katia travels through time yet again.
If Katia can’t master the test of time, she’ll never be reunited with Landon.
Nicole Zoltack loves to write in many genres, especially romance, whether fantasy, paranormal, or regency. She’s also an editor for MuseItUp Publishing and works as a freelance editor.
When she’s not writing about gentlemen and their ladies, knights, superheroes, or witches, she loves to spend time with her loving husband, three energetic young boys, and precious baby girl. She enjoys riding horses (pretending they’re unicorns, of course!) and going to the PA Renaissance Faire, dressed in garb. She’ll also read anything she can get her hands on. Her current favorite TV shows are The Walking Dead and Arrow.
