Sun is gleaming off the smooth swath of knee deep snow outside my windows so brightly I may need sunglasses! I am relishing a stretch of days in which there is nothing to do but cozy up inside and keep warm. And write.
I scurried about last week promoting Hearts in Bloom, along with my fellow writers. To my delight it had one of those lovely Amazon Best Seller badges by the end of the week. I like to think my magic mouse, Harry, helped.
While that was happening I finalized the plan for the Bluestocking Belles’ 2026 collection which I am coordinating. This one will be simple and not one of our interconnected ones. It will be out just before Halloween, and we’ve settled on the title Moonlight Madness. Agreeing to a title is no small accomplishment in any week. Watch for Harry to make a reappearance.
In the midst of all that I managed to get Honor at Heart Book Two, A Lady’s Honor to beta readers. I plan to have Books One and Two both up for presale February 1, with eight successive books following in two month intervals this year and the first half of 2027. That said it is time to show my readers Books 1-4.
Book three’s new epilogue is underway, I’ve begun editing book four, and I hope to get all four added to my website this week. I also need to get specs for covers five through eight to Dar Albert, the artist. But first, coffee.
