Where was I last week? I was in Cape May New Jersey allowing a good friend to do all the driving and wait on me while I rested my shoulder. Two Mondays ago I was pretending it was better than it was. That trip to the airport did me in. I was actually battling some agony. By Tuesday my children, who are wiser than I, dragged me to an orthopedic urgent care. The work went by the wayside.
After a cortisone shot, several days rest, icing and a tone of lidocaine, I’m functioning. How well? This morning I wrote 1200 words, an entire chapter, for “Here and Now,” my Forevers in Fenwick novel. The draft is due later this month and the book will be out in early 2027.
I’ll be busy this week getting out some PR for Moonlight Madness (watch for activity on Facebook), but I hope to do a newsletter IF I get enough progress done on “Here and Now.” But first, coffee.
