New Month. Where did August go?
And new stories in Moonlight. Moonlight Madness has moved forward; it is available for pre-order. As the intrepid project manager I have assembled a full draft and getting ready to put it in vellum. That will enable the authors to share it to reviewers and ARC readers. We’ll give that version a proof and final polish so I can get it the final up on time for launch October 15–the perfect season for a collection full of ghosts, fairies, and magic.
Eight Authors/eight stories. When the year grows colder and the veil between worlds grows thin—or so they say—comes the time for stories to make you shiver. The Bluestocking Belles bring ghosts, and ghoulies, and spirits of all kinds, each leading to love, the greatest madness of all. My story brings the return of Harry the magic mouse. It is Not Again, Harry in which a lady takes shelter in a creepy old house only to find haunting, prowlers, strange artifacts, and a man from her past. A wish-granting mouse complicates it all.
Meanwhile, I had an entirely new inspiration for my story for Fenwick Forevers. It puts me behind the curve on my deadline, but it rescued me from what had become paralyzing writers’ block (shudder). It is going to be a second chance story about a couple with a little more mileage on them.
So this week I am retiring into my writing cave, avoiding social media and going head down to work on “Here and Now” for Fenwick. Weekend? Vellum. Next week more Fenwick and a newsletter. But first? Coffee.
