We had a productive week here in the urban wilds—with a little help from my friends. The big news is that Merry Belles is now up for preorder! I will go live December 20. I think you’ll like my little holiday homicide, “The Angel’s Announcement.” It begins, “They found the shepherd eight days before Christmas. Dead.”
What I’ve been calling The Great Republish is underway. I hope to have all seven of my early novels as well as the beloved novella A Dangerous Nativity all newly edited with some minor changes (clearing up some small anomalies…I know more about the Regency than I did in 2015) ] new epilogues, new covers and new titles published by mid-2026. The novels are currently out of print. I will than add two new novels, sequels to the one about Egypt and Nubia.
With input from the good folks among Caroline Warfield’s Fellow Travelers on FaceBook who responded to my poll, I settled on a new series title, Honor at Heart. I have contracted with Dar Albert, the brilliant cover artist, to create a series logo. I also submitted forms for the first four covers. The titles in the newly packaged series will be:
