March crept in like a lamb but it has been roaring like a lion for a week. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day, or, if your area is like mine, Happy Irish week! Parades, green everything and shenanigans.
Much has been done lately and there is much to do. The final copy for Family Honor and A Lady’s Honor has been uploaded to all the retailers on time for the March 24 launch. Family Honor will ALWAYS be 99¢ but A Lady’s Honor will revert from the pre-order price to full retail soon after launch. You might want to order it now while it is $1.99.
I tiptoed back onto Tiktok last week. I decided its time to “figure it out and have fun.” I’m a booktoker. Meanwhile Dragonblade, bless them, gave their authors a presentation influencers and street teams that was enlightening. It has given me ideas for experimentation on Instagram as well. No point in writing the books if no one finds them. On the other hand, no point in spending hours on promo if I don’t have time to write. It is a dilemma.
The Bluestocking Belles celebrated their eleventh anniversery Saturday. They are the ones who have kept me anchored to the craft and the business of it all these years. I am delighted that i can finally tell you about the Belles new project. It will involve a series of books that feature a return to Fenwick on Sea–the setting of Storm & Shelter. The innkeeper, Mr. Brewster had such great luck when the storm stranded so many people at his inn that he and with a few other townsfolk have decided to make a push to bring more tourists and business to the village. I won’t give away all his plans, but I will say that the magic of love plays a significant part in all these stories.
This week I’m working on Honor at Heart Books 3 and 4. And watch for a newsletter, but first, coffee.
