Things have been hopping since the holiday break: new release, new covers, new plans, new members for the Bluestocking Belles.
Let’s take those in reverse order. The Bluestocking Belles are a group of very different writers united by a love of history and a history of writing about love. Our mantra has always been, “Have fun, make friends, sell books.” In that order. As you probably know they are my friends, my writing resource, my support, sisters of my heart. We are very pleased to announce three new members. Elizabeth Donne, Aileen Fish, and Barbara Monajem have joined our merry band. You can read more here: https://bluestockingbelles.net/about/
There are a number of plans hopping along. The Bluestocking Belles have begun brainstorming titles and plans for our 2026 collection which will be centered around Halloween. We have another publishing project well underway, but we aren’t ready to release information yet. It will be a fun departure from some of our previous work.
As I reported last week, Honor at Heart, my project to re-release my out of print titles in one connected series, is progressing nicely. Books 1 and 2 will be out in March, six more titles will follow in two month intervals, and two more all new novels connected to that same world will follow by mid 2027. I have lovely covers for the first four, and I should be able to share them with you next month.
The most immediate news is that Hearts in Bloom, which includes “Well Done, Harry,” about my little magic mouse will launch on Wednesday this week. My story features:
-
A duke’s reluctant heir–in disguise
-
A handsome librarian
-
Family secrets
-
A girl who speaks Greek
-
An ancient mouse that grants wishes
-
Unforeseen consequences
-
A fabulous library
-
A house party for Valentine’s Day
-
Mischievous friends
-
An overbearing, ambitious Mama
-
Some sneaking around
-
Some happy endings

I also plan to get out a newsletter by Friday. I will happen. But first, coffee.
