Summer Daze

IKp6y8AaGvILFwZyJG8q-0-rj70w-300x300 Author's Blog But First Coffee Do you define the beginning of summer as Memorial Day? I tend to, meteorology aside. First of course, we remember the fallen, but it is always a joyful, if hectic, time around here. No parade this year, alas. We headed to the shore last week–feet in the surf, towel on the beach, toes in the sand. I insisted on funnel cake, and luckily a few people helped me eat it or I would have devoured the entire thing. We did burgers on the grill Memorial Day and celebrated two birthdays, one of them mine.

I still managed to put a dent in Valentine Wishes anyway. That is my working title on a story that will be in a collection next winter. I also beta read two books for friends, and did one more careful look at the formatted file for Loves Perilous Road. On the side, I started playing with AI generated graphics, like the lady in the sand here. I have a steep learning curve!
