Big Doings This Week

A writer’s work is never done–even when she struggles to get to the writing of books. In 48 hours at the end of last week I published two blogs, scheduled a third, put out my newsletter, and partied with the Bluestocking Belles on Facebook for two hours. All that and I didn’t even get to my Friday Rambles column. What was that flurry of activity about? Storm & Shelter. It launches tomorrow, and the more pre-orders we have the more likely Amazon is to pay attention to it. If you didn’t join us you missed some fun and an opportunity for prizes. But fear not! Tomorrow will bring an even bigger opportunity.

To celebrate the launch, we’ve created a blog hop and a contest. Storm & Shelter has a snooping reporter for that horrid gossip rag, The Teatime Tattler hidden in it. Guess the identity of the snoop and be entered to win Big prizes! I mean it. Big. A $100 gift cad for one. More. And Local prizes on many of the stops. Seriously. You won’t want to miss it. The contest —which will be the stating point for the blog hop.

What is the Hop? Some gossip, possible clues to the snooping reporter, some flash fiction, and local prizes on some stops.

As to the book, it has eight all new stories from eight excellent writers and it is only 99 cents. That price is only good until April 17 when it will revert to 3.99.

Meanwhile, The Value of Pity is calling me. But first, coffee.
